Britain dirty little wars!
Since WW2 Britain has been secretly engaged in a number of secret/covert wars. Many of these were fighting communism and many were simply pseudo wars for the NATO v Soviet.
I aim to focus on some of those wars, which Britain were involved with and probably a few that they were not.
First off I am going to create a basic set of rules which works with small patrol type scenarios. To me these were the mainstay of all of these wars, whether it jungle or desert. Small man patrols and ambushes are key to war-gaming these periods. The patrol phase will almost be a game in itself as any number of events could happen depending on conditions and of varying scales. Tracking this is also key which brings me around to thinking like a campaign. Brisk engagements with a ladder like progression chart would be kinda cool!
